Rabies Vaccination in Union Territory

The rabies vaccine is performed by an authorized veterinarian.
The animal identification must be done before give the rabies vaccine.
The first vaccination should be done not before 3 months of age.
At least 21 days must have elapsed since the completion of the vaccination protocol required for the primary vaccination.

The rabies vaccine must be an inactivated vaccine or recombinant.
It has a shelf life recommended by the manufacturer, usually 12 months.
